P90X is a Scam!

I was going through the ordering process but changed my mind and didn’t even get near completing the process. I decided against ordering mainly due to all of the “upsell” garbage before the checkout. This was on Sunday. What a surprise on Monday morning when I received an order confirmation. Chatted with a “customer” service rep. He said it was already shipped (LIE) and they couldn’t do anything about it. Contacted VISA to start a complaint process. Rep said that even if you don’t finish the process, lose your Internet connection, etc., they “ASSUME” you want the product. Guess I’m lucky they didn’t “ASSUME” I wanted all of the automatic payment garbage they were trying to trick me into buying as well. BEWARE!!! Contacting the BBB and NC Attorney General’s Office next.

P90X is NOT a scam! They try to “Upsell” you all that stuff because some of it is what you actually need to do the program and they have it readily available via P90X website, it’s called a “business” and businesses like to advertise products! All you have to do is stop complaining and just click the no button when other things are offered. I think most people who are “skeptical” need to lighten up and try the program and quit giving their thoughts about the program until they actually commit to purchasing it and actually try it…YES it is VERY difficult, but it works! You can’t get results from something if you aren’t willing to give effort.

I did the p90x program for 45days and it was super hard but i persevered and after the first 45days i lost…..wait for it….nothing. Thats right, I didnt lose a single pound although my muscles did ache. I didnt however follow their strict diet but non-the less I didnt eat at the trough either. I have stopped the program and still have hopes to restart the program but following the program like it says. Is it a scam? At first i felt it might be and it could be but the fact that i worked my behind off and didnt lose a pound and the fact i didnt eat according to the book who knows Im willing to give it another try..just now to get the motivation.

i wrk for a bank in the fraud deparment, if you cancel same day even if done online we can dispute but here is the catch, you have to return the product back with a track#, so you can get a stonger case, per visa guidelines, since you engaged online the moment you enter the card info, you agreed to the terms & conditions even if you did not read the t&c or completed the order…so once you return the product you call her bank file a claim, you have to wait 30days ( for product delivery & return time & refund time) if they do not give you a refund with 30days, you call your bank again with your claim#, you give them the day you canceled, how you canceled & the tracK#, per REG E, your bank will issue you a “provisional credit” while claim is in processes which takes 45-90days, (mostly 45 cause you have tracK#), visa always sides with consumer as long as you have proof, the problem is that people do not read the Terms & conditions, on it stats what the price/payment program/installments are….but you always get refund from your bank you just have to return the product with track#. so you don’t have to worry….make sure if you do not order for the orginal company that you save the website where you made purchase…cause you don;t want to try to save little money & order for some scam company….for example…out of country company…i get lots of complaints for these companies…they promise lesser deals but the problem is they can send you a emply box & you will not get a refund per they will put a false address or no return address or some international address that you can’t read…and remember visa states you have to return it in order to get a refund….so don’t cut conners…most companies will give you a refund cause they know your bank will win the claim anyway & it causes moeny when you file a claim….so they will issue you a refund but they also want there product back……so as long as you follow this warning/instructions…you have nothing to worry…..good luck….

P90x is anything BUT a scam. You have to put in time and effort in a workout program. You cant reward yourself with a toned body image when you dont even put forth the effort. Do you think LeBron James got to where he is by watching TV and eating chips all day? Do you think Michael Phelps is who he is by thinking about working out but not doing it? I’m not saying these successful athletes have or are using P90x exersize program, I’m saying they are successful because the COMMIT. Working out your body is 10% physical and 90% mental. Tell me, of that 90% what percentage is that of commitment? Give it a chance. I’ve noticed results as of many other people, you know, the people who TRY.

I know its not a scam, but still I can’t help but agree with you. The same exact thing happened to me, and when I tried to edit my “shopping cart” i couldnt remove the product. And I completely disagree with the “assume” part, mainly because the order process has a “confirmation” step, thus confirming the order. I never reached that step and therefore should have never been sent the product.
